Talk Stories #023 LINDA BEEDLE - Creator of Sockietalkies the only socks with a pulley.
When Linda Beedle became the primary caregiver for her grandson—who was born with cerebral palsy, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and other health challenges—she was determined to find ways to make everyday success more attainable for him. Through creativity, persistence, and deep grandmotherly love, Linda explored innovative solutions to support his independence.
One life-changing idea led to the creation of Beedlebug, a company that designs socks with reinforced side holes, allowing people with mobility challenges to pull them on independently. Each pair also features short, uplifting messages on the toes, facing the wearer—offering encouragement with every step.
In this episode, we talk story with Linda about how her love for her grandson sparked an innovation that is now helping people far beyond her own family, reaching lives in communities around the world.
